PrayerWEBS.com will officially open for business very soon.

I’m still tweaking a lot of things, so it may look very different over the next few weeks.

Here’s a peek at what is coming.

Jump Start Revivals, Crusades and Evangelistic Meetings

Have you ever attended or conducted a crusade or revival that began slowly? Some meetings seem like they just get going when it’s time to close. Now, imagine that same congregation coming to your first meeting with excitement, unity and expectation. What could the Lord have done if His people had hopefully anticipated His plans? What if they were excited at the beginning of the meeting instead of at the end?

Power Made Perfect guides Christ-followers to pray for 40 days prior to a significant event in the life of your church or ministry.  Every day participants may use printed booklets or emails  with scripturally based meditations. Each one will guide your congregation and supporters to prayerfully consider topics such as:

  • The Power of Spiritual Renewal
  • The Power of Love
  • The Power of Forgiveness
  • The Power of Humility
  • The Power of Prayer
  • The Power of Trials
  • The Power of Holiness
  • The Power of God’s Name
  • Power Over Strongholds
  • The Power of Grace
  • The Power of Trusting
  • The Power of Jesus’ Name, and more!

Power Made Perfect will be customized with your church or ministry’s name and logo and the name of your upcoming event. It is suitable for crusades, revivals, evangelistic meetings, or similar occasions. It will also spark enthusiasm for sponsorship of a church plant or a church relocation. Florence Baptist Church at Mt. Zion recently employed an early version of this prayer guide prior to moving to a new campus. Click <link coming after copy approved by FBCMZ> for more information.

More information and a price list will be posted soon. Email me at bonnie AT prayerwebs.com to receive email notification of our official launch.

Engage More Church Members in Mission Trips

Paul’s message to Philippi offers  21st century mission-minded churches as much as it did was in the 1st century. He challenged them to remain unified, steadfast, appropriately cautious, and unconditionally joyful. These themes challenge Christ-followers of any era. They apply especially to churches sending members out for short-term mission projects.

PrayerWEBS.com announces the upcoming release of The Trip Begins at Philippi. This 40 day prayer guide is the first of a series designed specifically for short term mission projects. Paul’s words to the Philippians give team members and their supporters guidance for specific prayer requests. Participants may use a 45-page booklet or request emails to guide their prayer for:

  • each team members’ physical, spiritual, and emotional welfare
  • team members’ financial needs in general, and specific to the upcoming trip
  • family and job responsibilities
  • team unity
  • travel logistics
  • believers the team will work alongside
  • the work the team will do
  • members of the community they will serve

This concept helps team members and supporters become  interested and excited to see how God will answer their prayers. As supporters pray for the team, they become more engaged and more likely to contribute money and offer support to the team. Team members are strengthened by this encouragement even as the Holy Spirit prepares them for the trip.

A church in Georgia has already used this prayer guide for an overseas mission trip. A summary of the results of this and one other trip will be available after launch.

The Trip Begins at Philippi will be customized with your church or ministry’s name and logo and the mission team’s destination. We will also provide an opportunity to add team members’ names to each page or email. Details will be available at launch.

Add “Who Art in Heaven?” to Your Ministry or Personal Website or Blog

The Bible uses hundreds of names and descriptive phrases to tell us about the Father, His Son, and His Spirit.  Many more Scripture passages give us additional insight. These greatly enhance our understanding of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. God’s Word provides this understanding through insight into His character, His plan for redemption, and His thoughts about us. Hundreds of verses describe and explain Jesus’ ministry,  sacrifice, resurrection, and gift of eternal life. And from the first chapter of Genesis to the last chapter of Revelation we read about the Holy Spirit’s ministry, fruit and works.

As a daily ministry, PrayerWEBS.com will soon begin posting a daily devotional entitled, “Who Art in Heaven?” This brief devotional (less than 300 words) will help believers focus upon God, Jesus or the Holy Spirit during their daily quiet time. This will provide help in 3 ways.

  1. We are prone to jump into making our requests known to God. Though He wants to hear our prayers, He longs for us to know Him intimately.
  2. We tend to fall back upon familiar phrases, such as “Heavenly Father”, “Blessed Jesus”, etc. These come straight from Scripture, but there are many other names, phrases and passages that lead us to truth we might not have otherwise seen.
  3. As we become more familiar with the many dimensions of our Father, Savior and Counselor, we will be more effective ministers to people whose experiences are vastly different from our own. For example, if you had a godly earthly father, seeing God as your Heavenly Father is meaningful and positive. It may be difficult, however, to relate to someone whose father was horribly abusive and is unable to see past that pain.

These devotions will be especially effective to read at the beginning of a time of prayer. As we meditate upon God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, we are more likely to see our lives and circumstances through His eyes. We will also be more receptive to His voice. Want more information? Email me at bonnie AT prayerwebs.com for an email when this daily devotional becomes available to the public.
